AMTV News: MSNBC: Romney Engaging in The ‘Niggerization’ of Obama
Welcome to AMTV News, I’m your host Topher Morrison. Today is Finally Friday August 15th, 2012. My final broadcast can be found at the bottom of this post. Remember to comment, like and most of all – share!
Aaand it’s gone…
No Criminal Case for John Corzine
According to criminal investigators surveying the MF Global catastrophe and the evaporation of $1 billion after a massive bet on European debt went south – no criminal charges will be filed against former CEO John Corzine. This would have been strike three for the man who’s been ousted from the chief post at Goldman Sachs and the Governorship of New Jersey. While this will likely be written off to: “chaos and porous risk controls…rather than fraud,” does a bet placed by a CEO, which threatens to “wipe out [a] firm many times over” only to be paid for by secure customer funds warrant prosecution? If you can indict a ham sandwich you sure as hell can charge Corzine.
And in another episode of the Race Wars…
MSNBC’s Touré: Romney & the ‘Niggerization’ of Obama
In one of the least artful and plainly transparent attempts to rinse in racial overtones ‘the conservatives liberals are taught to hate,’ MSNBC co-host of The Cycle, Touré gets caught with his hand in the racial cookie jar.

Here’s a grab bag from Michael Snyder’s list:
1. Both supported TARP
12. Both have been big promoters of Government Run Health Care

Assange Granted Assylum in Ecuador
Ecuador on Thursday granted WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange asylum after losing an extradition battle with Sweden to answer for rather dubious charges of sexual assault. This was after the British government threatened to strip Ecuador of its diplomatic status stating: “The United Kingdom does not recognize the principle of diplomatic asylum.” The threat of storming an embassy brings back images of Iran’s storming of the British Embassy in 2011 and former British ambassador to Moscow, Tony Brenton, expressed the arbitrary decision to revoke immunity would create an impossible environment for diplomacy worldwide.

China’s Quiet Winning Strategy in Africa
In 1885 the “Berlin Conference” divied up the African continent among European powers who then stripped, mined and left it to languish. It has since struggled, with few exceptions, amidst famine, disease and social strife. In 2010, in what Zero Hedge has dubbed the “Bejing Conference,” $100 billion dollars was dedicated to exclusive commercial projects and a path to modernization. Africa is overflowing with critical raw materials, resources and supplies. So while the developed world goes bankrupt China is quietly, through this ‘Charm Offensive,’ taking over the planet.

Immortals? AI Singularity Will Go ‘Very Badly for Humans’
For those breathlessly awaiting immortality, any one of the current religions is offering brighter end times than those at the Church of Singularity. The merging of man and machine into a ‘new species’ according to Luke Muehlhauser CEO of Singularity Institute won’t be a fun transition especially for the plebes. The world’s elite will be the first to enjoy their artificial bodies and bionic brains. According to Muehlhauser:
“Unfortunately, the singularity may not be what you’re hoping for. By default the singularity (intelligence explosion) will go very badly for humans… so by default superhuman AIs will end up optimizing the world around us for something other than what we want, and using up all our resources to do so.“
And finally a brief focus on solutions…
“If Mayors Ruled the World”
What if? The One Worlders would have you believe the United Nations with planet wide representation and infinite strata of bureaucracy will solve mankind’s problems, secure peace and ensure enduring prosperity. This is a philosophy as old as empire. Benjamin Barber, author of Strong Democracy, may have a different view: “The paramount aims of city-dwellers,” says Barber, “concern collecting garbage and collecting art rather than collecting votes or collecting foreign allies, the supply of water rather than the supply of arms, promoting cooperation rather than promoting exceptionalism, fostering education and culture rather than fostering national defense and patriotism.“
