First up…
TSA 55 Strong at DNC: Taking it to the “Next Level”
Two years ago Transportation Security Administration chief, John Pistole told USA Today he “want[ed] to take the TSA to the next level.” In recent months the TSA has expanded its operations outside the airports into train, subway and bus stations. Their VIPR teams have even been beta testing on American highways. They have now shown up at places far outside of any transport juncture having been spotted at a Paul Ryan event prior to the Republican convention.
During our coverage of the RNC, AMTV was the lone voice amidst a slumbering mainstream media complex breaking the news the TSA was screening journalists as well. The TSA has laid relatively low after suffering a bruising couple years due to increased pat downs and installing invasive and potentially cancer causing backscatter x-rays. No longer. TSA is now checking your drinks at gates, invading sports events and today has not a handful of TSA agents I reported in Tampa, but has deployed a veritable platoon ready to frisk the Dems down at the DNC over the next three days. This is truly the next level, while politicians seldom keep their promises evidently bureaucrats deliver on theirs.
80% of the World in Contraction
Its going to be difficult for anyone to claim success when this data sinks in. The top OECD countries are suffering from East to West, 22 of them tracked by Zero Hedge are in contraction. Producer Manufacturing Index (PMI) according to HSBC and official Chinese data has now placed the China firmly in the red. The PMI was lowered from 50.1 to 49.2, the lowest point in nearly a year. The prognosis: a European shock leading to further integration or dumping Greece and a negative global GDP in the coming months.
NASA’s ‘Ninja Star,’ From NY to LA in 2 Hours
NASA has just granted Dr. Gecheng Zha of the University of Miami $100 thousand dollars to develop what could amount to a revolution in flight. This Ninja Star shaped craft adjusts its orientation and wings midflight. Its broad wingspan allows it to take off in short distances, but when it transforms into a super sonic spear it will potentially be able to ferry future passengers from New York to Los Angeles in two hours. Achieving a working prototype is still decades away.
30,000 Dead Registered to Vote in NC
This headline makes for an interesting conversation starter at the DNC, will the mainstream media ask the question? Is it ironic that a party, praising Democracy it its name, famous for its voter mobilization and outreach efforts would reject voter reform when obvious inconsistencies, technical oversights and outright fraud persists. In the absence of voter ID laws even a Democrat Attorney General of the United States can be impersonated. It may depress the vote to have people present identification, but is democracy about quantity or quality?
The Dirty Nine Letter Word: Secession
Dump DC & AMTV Op-Ed
Why is it so? Why not let a 1000 Nations Bloom? Is it really true that ‘united we stand, divided we fall?’ Look at every division throughout history, independence seems to be a catalyst for standing up for a renewal of values. The 20th century was supposed to bear witness to the “atomic age” rather than divide into smaller more agile polities, more accountable to their citizens government became stronger as governance was outsourced to far off capitals, taxed more, and centralized and augmented control. What did we get? Reckless monopolies, energy cartels, corrupt trade unions and above all world wide warfare. Are we really the United STATES, one nation under God or are we merely one nation under Washington.
